[ "Uff, what an idiot!" Din was clearly disproving of Link's method of adventuring. "I should've just waited for you to come back to Holodrum" more words she knew were for her own ears. Not a soul could hear her in such an expansive and empty place. She'd tracked Link down to some temple in the middle of a Hyrulean desert, hoping to enlist his help again. It was too much trouble to rely on the triforce or sending a message, she trusted herself more to get to him in time. There was also a small matter of personal attachment and the longing that might occur as a side-effect, but she would be the last to admit that.
A thought crossed her mind that hadn't before, one that made her somewhat fearful. There were no monsters. She hadn't encountered a single one, and while that might have occurred as being a positive observation, the utter lack of life she'd experienced in the dungeon made her incredibly uneasy. Not even a speck of dust was present, proving that Link hadn't defeated any creatures, there simply were none to begin with. "Where are you, you dope?!" she shouted, more to ease the silence than to actually seek her old friend. Her footsteps were loud, sandals clicking against the stone, the sound bouncing across every cold, stone brick of the rooms she passed through. Nothing but her own fearful breathing and steps echoed through the halls of the forsaken place. Had she sat down and kept silent, one would think that the air itself was dead.
Every chamber was filled with various already-solved puzzles. The only thing that reassured Din that her friend had passed through. A torch lit up near an emptied chest, scratches from some heavy weapon being removed from it. A large, heavy block moved some feet from it's original resting place, scrapes in the stone and all. Her hair had been swishing back and forth, long since stopped as her walk became less chipper and confident. Gone was her self-assured smirk, gone was her flirtatious walk, one wouldn't even surmise that she was a dancer.
"L-link, are you here?" No answer. "Link?!" Still nothing but the echo of her own voice. Room after room, nothing but solved puzzles and empty treasure chests. She stopped for a moment, sitting upon a stone. This room was lit well, a few torches that were clearly part of a puzzle scattered about. One that was uncannily familiar, an equally similar treasure chest beside it. Scratches within it's base, as though some weapon was removed from it. A tear rolled down her eye, as the young woman realized she'd been through the same room, or possibly rooms multiple times. She'd been traveling in a straight line too, each exit of a room on the opposite wall to it's entrance. She'd assumed it was just a simple gauntlet of puzzles compared to the sacred places in her home land. She realized with a twinge of hopelessness that she'd probably gotten herself into the most elaborate dungeon possible. It looped, and she hadn't the slightest clue what conditions had to be met to make whatever magic caused the looping satisfied. Did she need to redo some of the puzzles in different ways? Were they not solved properly? Did she need to backtrack and try again from the entrance? She wondered if she could even GET to the entrance again. It was then that her thoughts turned to Link...
"Oh I'm so sorry, I just wanted to see you... there isn't even any danger to holodrum... Link... please find me..." She contemplated sitting still and letting him get to her, surely if she was trapped in a loop, he was too, he'd just not solved the puzzles correctly, that's it, they'd just been moving at a similar pace to each other. In the back of her mind she had doubts. What if the information the town's people gave her was incorrect? He could have never even come to this place, and the solved puzzles was even more of the trick. Or maybe he had, and he'd solved it's riddle, gotten what he came for and left, completely unaware of her predicament. Her thoughts were interrupted swiftly by the rumbling of her stomach. She opened up her little traveling bag and took out some bread to snack on. Even the most basic of foods was delicious to her when she was incredibly hungry. She scarfed it down quickly, making a crumby mess on the floor below her. A sigh of relief escaped her lips, her stomach sated. At least she wouldn’t go hungry. Almost her whole bag was full of food. She wanted to be prepared.
“Don’t worry Link, I’m gonna find you!” she exclaimed to no one in particular, feeling much better mentally after eating something. Well, at least externally. Din still had numerous doubts in her mind that she’d ever get out, but she tried to suppress them in favor of trying to find a solution. Link did this kind of stuff all the time, as did the other great heroes of times past. If they could trudge through swamps and deserts, and every dungeon in between, she could certainly figure out a way to get out of this place. More doubt crossed her mind, but she stood up quickly, opting to start moving before she was a tearful mess again. She turned around to the door she had entered, curious if it was her way out. “How funny would that be?” she thought aloud.
She stopped a few feet away from the door. She couldn’t see anything on the other end. The door to the room was open, and yet only pitch-blackness lay on the other side, despite a torch resting upon the wall not more than a foot away. Din backed away, frightened at the implications. One step, two steps, as she backed up the darkness suddenly began to pour out onto the walls, the floors, the ceiling, as though it were trying to consume the room she was in! She turned quickly, her large ponytail swaying opposite, and began to run for the other door. She dared not look behind her, for fear that a moment’s delay could spell… whatever it is that would happen to her. That, she did not want to ponder as well. Quick, loud clicking footsteps erupted from her feet, heavy breathing and slight cries of fear, these were the only sounds that echoed through the room, and the next as she continued to run, not knowing if the blackness would overtake her.
But then there was another noise. A noise not from her. A sort of rustling of cloth. Nothing all that disturbing, nothing that explicitly implied a presence, but definitely startling amidst the already adrenaline filled brain of the young woman. One step, two steps, three steps, all in quick succession. Was it gaining on her? Seven steps, eight steps, nine steps, she kept running. She just needed to keep going! Fourteen steps, fif- WHAM! She had caught her foot on a stone in the ground, falling flat on her face. The pain wasn’t actually as perilous to her as her reaction. It left her on the ground, holding her head, unable to even process getting back up and running again. But… even so, nothing happened.
She opened her eyes to see… nothing. Or nearly nothing. The room was devoid of features. No stone, no torches, no puzzles or traps or anything that might make the shuffling of cloth. Nothing whatsoever, in fact it was rather dark…
“N-nooooo! Oh goddess, please no…” Her head cleared somewhat, quickly striking up her fight or flight. Fighting literal blackness wasn’t in the cards for her, so she knew she’d need to keep running. She just needed to keep going, she’d make it out of this void if she just kept running.
But she couldn’t. She tried to move her legs but it was as though her feet were stuck in something. She looked down, and surprisingly she could still see her own body, the feet of which were stuck in the blackness! It was a tar-like substance, and to her horror it was slowly creeping up to her feet! She continued the struggle, but it was for naught, her feet slowly being covered in the black goop. As it got to the bare parts of her feet, she felt it move across her. It was unnerving, but somehow comfortable? Cool, slick, tingly, all words that could describe how it felt. The goop dissolved her sandals, sliding up to her ankles and lower leg, blotting her skin out with a shiny, rubbery blackness.
“N-no! Help me! Somebody help! Link!” she screamed, distraught. As the goop covered up her calves, and over her knees, she found that she couldn’t control her legs at all anymore, not only were they stuck, they weren’t responding to her brain’s commands. And worse yet, it felt really good. Indescribably good. The tingly pleasurable sensation coated every bit that the black goo did, and it scared it. Was it a way to trick her into not struggling? She didn’t know. Her head felt fuzzy, whether it was from her emotional rollercoaster of experiences or some more evil magic she didn’t know.
“I-I… feels good… but… no…” She pathetically reached her hand down to claw at the goop, not surprisingly getting her hand covered, speeding up her fate. What was a shock though was the electric sensation of stronger tingles that spread through her leg as she touched it. It was a rather unlady-like experience, despite being centered on a different part of her body. Thoughts entered her mind that hadn’t been there before. She was meant to experience this. She began to feel mentally at ease, her thoughts turning to enjoying the experience. Bit by bit the goop slid up her legs, up her thighs, reaching up to her crotch. The tingles continued, all over her legs, the more of her that was covered, the more she lost her mind to the feeling.
But then the rustling of cloth came again. “Wh-what? C-cloth…” her mind came back somewhat. Somewhat, and then a lot all at once. “NO! Whatever you are, you will NOT win!” she struggled with her upper body as hard as possible to move, the goop between her soles and the floor tearing somewhat, her body flying forward again, but this time it was not met with the floor, mummy-like bandages quickly flew out from behind her somewhere and tightly gripped her in various places. Her legs were squeaked together, a touch she shortly noted as strange, and her torso and arms were pasted together by tight bandages. By now the goop had climbed to her lower body, over her stomach, her outfit and tassels disappearing. She gasped in pleasure again, her mind hazing over as the tingling returned wherever both goop and bandages were simultaneously present. Her legs were a flood of pleasant feelings, her upper body feeling as such as the goop discretely managed to covered beneath the tight bandages.
Din drooled a little, her body nearly all black and shiny, albeit with the contrast of greyish bandages covering certain areas. Her brain was a mush of submissive thoughts. It felt so good to get all wrapped up she thought to herself. Every toe, every finger was stimulated, strong feelings of pleasure all over. Squeaks and rustling could be heard as more and more bandages came from the darkness and covered her. Her bag’s straps were consumed, falling to the floor, slowly covered and erased by the black goop that seemed to make up Din’s world now. The helpless woman moaned a little, perhaps in brainlessness or happiness, maybe both. She tried to move her now-covered arms, not because she wished to escape, but because she wanted to cover her face already, it felt too good. Much better than being encased in a crystal.
Being encased in a crystal? Weird thoughts came to her again. They felt very alien, something about dancing, something about the seasons, some silly looking young man in green garb. It was all so random. She felt like it was important, and almost felt a sort of guilt as though she’d failed to do something or let someone down. Was it that green fairy-boy? Probably not. She didn’t know what it was, but she was certainly enjoying the sensations the darkness was giving her. The goop crawled up her chin, covering over her mouth, bandages soon following, the tingles as well, before making it’s way over her nose and eyes, up and over her hair. Her bangles all covered in black, everything on her but the bandages covered in black… she looked positively corrupt.
She felt it too. Had her newly reformed mouth not been under bandages anyone who somehow came across her would see a big grin plastered on her rubbery face. Her eyes opened up, glowing yellow, as the transformation of sorts ended. All around her she saw stone again. She saw home. Her home. It was comforting. But she needed to do something today, didn’t she? The green boy came back to her thoughts again. Gibdo needed to… find him and help him? Was that it? She felt a bit flustered at that thought. Her brain wasn’t the fastest of all the creatures of the dungeon but even she knew what a cute boy looked like. She needed to go find him and make him happy! That’s what she needed to do!
She shuffled awkwardly about the floor of the dungeon, feeling the coolness beneath her bare feet, squeaks coming from the contact of her steps, the moving of her legs together, the bandages contact upon her skin. Oh and the bandages still felt, sooooo good. She moaned again, walking her shambling walk partly out of need to find the boy, and partly because of how good it felt to move around.
Link sighed out of frustration. He had the charm to ward off the dark curse, but he’d just gotten annoyed at the sheer number of rooms there were. At least they didn’t loop like the old woman warned him. He sat down on a stone, exhausted from all the labor. He wondered to himself if it was all true. The elder had said that without the pendant of light, he’d have found himself in an endless cycle of rooms, all alone, not even a monster to keep him company. Who even knew what would result from that? He turned his attention to the door he’d just unlocked to see an incredibly familiar form. He’d recognize that alluring figure anywhere! But as it squeaked into the light, and the door he’d entered from became barred, he realized he might find out just what that curse entailed.
A commission for https://www.deviantart.com/chaosoverlordz Alternatively just titled "ChaosOverlordZ Commission 1/2" but it fits the Game Over genre. I sorta got REALLY inspired out of nowhere to write for it, so I guess enjoy that. The second page will come soon, with Din completely covered in the goop and bandages, seeking her friend <3
What will happen to the seasons? Maybe it'll rain latex goop.
Enjoy everyone, and if you want a commission like this, send me a note.]
My thoughts now:
I like Din, I'd definitely consider doing something with her again nowadays. I'm surprised I wrote a story for this one. I do write fetishy and lewd stuff from time to time but that's not what people know me for I guess so oh well.
