Well yesterday I turned a quarter of a century-year-old! So here’s my inevitable musical inspiration post. Each year I like to share a song that been on my mind and kind of fits what I’ve been feeling lately. I hope that you can relate to it :)
In years past I’ve done:
“Let That Be Enough” http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20978655/
“Only You” http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26046803/
“Twenty-Four” http://www.furaffinity.net/view/28405041/
So this year is a little different. Typically I record every single track (with the exception of sampling every now and then but rarely) however this time I wanted to share something from a personal project. As some of you may already know I am a Coldplay FREAK! I love that band!! So like any geek would I recreated their entire “Head Full of Dreams” Tour setlist haha. I set up my gear (the way I typically perform live) in a venue called the “Field House” at my church and recorded myself playing along to the whole set live. I wanted to push myself in terms of live performance and editing.
With that being said I did not record every part of this track though I have heavily tweaked and edited it to get it to sound as close to the real thing as possible.
Up&Up is (at the moment) my favorite Coldplay song. I think it is full of soul and soaring melodies to provide the ultimate grand finale. My wife and I are praying for the next chapter in our lives. We’re hoping for a fresh start and besides this being my favorite Coldplay song it seems appropriate. In the midst of doubt, fear, and all the anxieties life brings, we believe in love, hope, and peace. I pray the same for you!
Let’s go up and up and up!
Remember to never give up and always…
BELIEVE IN LOVE!
The live parts are: My lead vocal & piano
My recorded parts are: The epic modified live ending Coldplay does
All other parts are from this absolutely amazing backing track resource: https://www.karaoke-version.com/cus.....y/upandup.html

I would recommend listening to some of her music.
many people have described her as having the voice of an angel.
she came to the world's stage in the 80's and has been put in the "new age" genre (but don't tell her that)
you may have heard one of her songs "only Time" through video memes [who can say where the road goes...]
you might like some of her songs, and I'd love to see if you might do a cover some time.
