Looks like something bad is just around the corner and is ready to creep up on Melee, but he knows something's up! The dragon readies his sword; it's hardly the best weapon for combat and he is hardly the best-trained in its use, but it's better than nothing.

This one's a pretty simple piece, but I do love the liberties the artist took with the lower half of the body; the thick tail and the feet design really help to give Melee a more bestial look without making him look too feral. I said this before, but it warrants repeating that I'm perfectly okay with artists giving my characters digitigrade feet; it's not a thing I do personally, but I find some artists can do it rather well. Add this artist to the list of "people I'd love to commission again when I get the chance."
