9.5" x 12.5 color pencil. Will be much further along this weekend.

I started applying the striping before I really wanted to and regret not taking a photo of her without the strips first. I went into a lot of detail on her musculature and body conturing knowing that I'd probably loose much of the effect when she got stripes but oh well... It made he's body twist much more distinct and showed more clearly that she was leaning away from the viewer.

The scene she was originally going to be depicted in changed radically well into the piece and hopefully will be more expressive.

Must of her striping is only a first layer at this time and will be made darker and more detailed later on. The background is going to be something of a challenge and more detailed than I really wanted to get into anymore, but this is a special commission piece.
