Back with another relationship meme- this time with two of my Monster Hunter babs, Daneji and Clarice :D

Being literally considered predator and prey, with him being a Chaotic Gore Magara and her being a Kelbi, these two are a pretty odd coupling. But, let one thing be known; she started it.
Daneji was actually in a 'relationship' beforehand with another character, a Seregios girl, but she was/is really manipulative pretty controlling and it was decently toxic. Won't go into details, but she fucked him up a bit and the damage didn't really come to light until much later.
Clarice met him when he was with this 'partner', and needless to say the girls didn't get along. At all. At one point, he just kinda... walked away after a fight with the Flying Wyvern, and ended up wandering into the small camp Clarice had set up(an abandoned Hunters camp).

It actually took a while for him to finally be ok with allowing himself to GIVE affection, though he was ok with her just kinda cuddling up to him or even hanging on him(she's small, it wasn't that bad). They traveled together first before she finally made the move, which he accepted and thus they went from friends to mates in time. 💙

Despite being a really really awkward and nervous oaf most of the time, Daneji really does care about her, and she's learned to notice his own 'love language' in time so she knows~ The two actually often go to a certain hybrid and her Hunter mate/husband(Kilani and Volt) to get help because neither of them know what the hell they're doing. :'D
They do eventually have two kids(YEARS later), which proves a whole new slew of not-so-fun problems due to the ungodly mixture of genes that make the Forbidden Love AUs Elias surviving a common and easy thing.
But, until then, these two nerd love eachother and they try their damnedest to make things ok, especially since the trustworthiness of other Hunters is incredibly questionable for them; especially for him. Anyone who knows what a Chaos Gore is would understand why, and even Volt was incredibly hesitant once he knew what it was.
