Mm, before I get descended upon by WWII aviation buffs, please note that in drawing/painting the plane, I went with the design depicted in this particular episode of Gargoyles. How accurate it actually is to whatever model aeroplane it might be remains to be seen.
Anywho, straight out ofLocash London is Griff from "Gargoyles," laying the smackdown on a German aircraft in a scene which, due to time constraints, had to be cut from the episode. Dem's the breaks.

Awesome pic. And now, Go Go Gadget Boring History Stuff.
It's more than likely a Masserschmitt bf109 http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/.....ttbf1099nb.jpg rather than a Stuka http://www.finn.it/regia/immagini/s.....gabt_lecce.jpg
For what it's worth, if this is based on the ones that appeared in the episode (been too long since i saw gargoyles) it's quite accurate.

This is tremendously awesome. I was going to say that this is the sort of thing I'd expect to find as a big splash page or as a comic book cover, but I think this is even better looking than that would be, and I'm not trying to be flattering. I would seriously order a lithograph of this.
Aaaand obligatory compliment for utilizing an underutilized character in Griff xD
