So, a little background info before storytime. I originally got into this whole thing because of an artist who drew Cream as a giantess all the time. Time passed, and eventually a story was written based on his works called "Cream's Big Adventure," which maybe I'll post here. I was used as the anonymous recipient, who then sent it to someone else to post. Go figure, an anonymous who wasn't me lol. But that story prompted a lot of giantess Cream fan art, and this is one of them. Here, I shall post the excerpt it's from, at least until I post the whole story. There's no credited author so...public domain? Lol. Enjoy gang.
“The Growinator?”
Tails bravado soon deflated at Cream’s innocent sounding question, and he slumped with a dejected sigh as he scratched the back of his head. “Yeah, I know…the name is a work in progress.”
Cream couldn’t help but giggle at that. “So what does it do?”
Tails smiled. “Why don’t I show you?” The fox closed up the device and stood up, taking hold of it and aiming it like a pistol. “You see that apple over there on that stand?”
Cream looked over to where Tails was pointing and nodded, “Yes I see it…it looks really small.”
“That’s because it is.” Tails replied. “But if this functions the way I want it to, it won’t be small for long.” Tails grinned and pressed a button on a nearby computer console. “Project: ‘Large Appetite’ test one. Recording.”
“Should I stand back?” Cream asked.
Tails nodded. “That would probably be a good idea.” He turned a knob on the side of the gun and aimed at the apple. “Growinator fire!” The moment the fox boy pulled the trigger, green waves of energy began bombarding the apple until it began to somehow fluctuate. “I think it’s working!”
“Really?!” Cream clasped her hands in excitement for her friend’s success.
“Yeah!” Tails nodded excitedly. He kept squeezing the trigger, and suddenly the apple seemed to shift somehow, and again, and again. “It’s growing! It works!” Tails let go of the trigger and the waves stopped, but not before the apple made one more shift and finally stopped. “I did it!”
“Amazing Tails! The apple looks so much bigger now!” Cream exclaimed.
Tails went over and carefully examined the apple, it had indeed increased in size substantially, so much so that Cheese, who had been curiously watching from a safe distance, was now the same size as the apple that he had previously been twice its size.
“It doubled in size! This is better than I could’ve hoped for!” Tails cheered. “Cream, do you know what this means?!” Cream didn’t get a chance to reply, as Tails continued to rave about his success. “With my growth ray fully functional, I could end world hunger once and for all by increasing the density and mass of all sorts of foods!” Tails ran over and grabbed Cream’s hands, spinning around with her in joy. “Children in third-world countries will never have to go hungry again! I’ll make their food so big that they’ll have problems finding a place to put their leftovers!” Tails grinned madly. “I smell a Nobel prize in my future.”
“What’s a Nobel prize for?” Cream tilted her head curiously, smiling as she took note of Cheese taking a bite out of the apple.
“Oh.” Tails chuckled as he realized he’d gone off on a tangent and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. “It’s an award given to people who discover something amazing for science. That’s the most general description.” Tails snapped his fingers in realization. “Oh! I gotta write down the results in my journal! Be right back!” Tails ran over to his computer and sat down in his chair as he began typing at lightning speed.
Meanwhile, Cream had gone over to Cheese, who was still happily munching on the apple. “Does it taste good Cheese?”
“Cheese stuck his head out from the giant apple and smiled. "Chao chao!”
The rabbit giggled. “I’m so happy for Tails, his invention will make so many people happy! No one will ever be hungry again!” At the mention of hunger, the rabbit girl’s stomach rumbled a bit. “Oops.” She blushed. “Guess I’m a little hungry myself!”
“Chao chao chao!” Cheese pushed the apple towards her, and the young girl smiled in response.
“Thank you Cheese, it looks delicious!” Cream needed two hands to hold the apple, but once she got a hold of it, she took a big bite out of it and started chewing. “Mmm, it is delicious!” She swallowed and giggled. “Nice to know making it grow didn’t make it taste different!”
“And…done.” Tails closed his online journal and turned around in his chair. “Ok Cream, next we have to…” Tails eyes widened in horror as he watched Cream and Cheese blissfully eat away at the apple. “Cream, Cheese, no!”
The two jumped at the sudden urgency in Tails voice, and they put the giant apple back on the stand and frowned. “What’s the matter Tails?”
"I wasn’t finished testing it!“ He exclaimed with his head between his palms in fear. "I have no idea what might happen if someone actually EATS a food that’s been enlarged!”
Cream and Cheese looked at each nervously before folding their hands in front of them in regret. “We’re sorry.”
Tails gulped. “Oh boy…” He said to himself. “This could be a problem…a really BIG problem.”
