ink, then digital. 2008.
fanart based on this awesome image, drawn by my ex-girlfriend's neice, Isobell (age 6 at the time).
I think the head design is awesome particularly the eye; I couldn't make it up if I tried - very sculptural.

What I find best about your art is the visual span. Not the technique... everyone can do technique... but the range of 'styles' and approaches you can have to a subject. Your range of aesthetics. Like... 'hell, the concept is not working out well in this range, let's change it. BAM. perfect. Let's change back again and see what comes out'. Seeing someone 'out there' who has fun with possibilities a subject carries is like finding someone with a portable gas stove on the frozen tundras of siberia.
The versatility. Finding boundaries you can smash to pieces. Finding solutions. Searching for problems you can find solutions to.
I think I just found my long sought difference between Art and art. The latter strives for homogenity, while the former uses all means available to do 'something cool', without all the bullshit ego related issues, as art is all that matters in art.
Another Analysis Of Chris Goodwin By A Basementgrown Critic, lol, sorry.
Yeah. So good to see your stuff...
