Flinters does comics!
They're here! The first SCAVENGERS book and the XFRMATIONS UNLIMITED comics are in my hot little paws and I'm thrilled to have them. Real honest to goodness comic books! I've had collections of my ROOMIES comics before, along with a book and DVD, but this is the frsit for comic books.
SCAVENGERS has been seen here on FA. The printed version is much nicer. You want this. Trust me.
SFRMATIONS UNLIMIED also has content I've posted here, and with luck will be a general transformation themed anthology of different contributors (hint hint contributors!).
Both are available from Jarlidium Press (jarlidium.com) and will also be available from Second Ed Books after FC is done. Of course you can get them at FC 2010 in person or at any con I go to.

Sharing stuff online is nice and all, but there's something more real about a paper printed product all assembled and titled and... well, REAL. Yeah, I know I could just print it out, it isn't quite the same.
I can hand SCAVENGERS to my father or even my boss to show what I do/draw without them looking at it funny. It's clean and professional so a good sample item. XFFMATIONS UNLIMITED though- yeaaaaah, that's got lots of spoooooge, so not so good to hand out. ;)

Similar in that you end up with a couple of competing groups of strangers united in some goal they must travel to.
If you like transformations, the Well World series has a good basis. You wake up as a squirrel like creature and have to figure out what it is you are, the local culture, etc. Good physical descriptions.

Scanners can't pick up the subtle shading effectively. In print you can see a lot more of the warmth to the comic that is missing with digital online forms.
Plus, having something in hand where you can flip through the pages makes it an experience that online forms just cannot share.
