Slowly craaaawling through the art I have owed some peeps. This one in particular I feel extra guilty on as the peep originally requested a picture back in 2007...or was it 2006. In either case, massive delay.
The character herself is an otter-taur and oh man colour-splosion. In some ways it was fun, I particularly like how her faux-hawk came out. And the wings alone tried to kill me a few times. Part of me wonders if I should have just gone with the gradient tool in Photoshop rather than doing them myself...but eh. I wish I could have done the jewelry better and as always, I are the queen of lame backgrounds.
Ze character herself belongs to ze fabulous Morgan Souza, who has been ever so nice despite me taking a million years to finish her pic.

Looks great, and the colors are wild. You really out did yourself on those. :)
I hate to critique or a even point out stuff that I think might be off, but this is going to nag at me if I don't. Sorry, you can chew me out for it later but the jewelry on the tail looks like it's not sitting on the tail right. It looks like the bottom edge is cutting into the tail or something? I can't quite describe it really well. The top seems to suffer from something similar as well. It might just be the things hanging off it that makes it seem that way to me, but I didn't feel right not saying something after all of the help you've given me. :/

wow! the wings are sooo cool! as a fae wouldf say *shinies!* it reminds you of a rainbow! or an artist gone mad... whatever! you art is always cool!
and don´t worry about backgrounds too much, you can put just a solid color as it, and your stuff will still look awesome!
