I thought I would post the past two year's Christmas cards we sent out, featuring animals mentioned in NOTES FROM THE CURTIS FARM.

Last year it was Bigwig the Skunk. Bigwig first appered on our porch this past fall, and made himself welcome. I had no doubt that Flower the Skunk was his mother, or at least a family member. Bigwig proved to be very tamable, and quickly I was visiting him on the porch and talking to him while he ate cat food. This picture was made from about a foot and a half away.
