There are many times in life where a small action has profound consequences. Maybe they were known ahead of time, maybe they were not. In any case, it is impossible to rewind time, even for a simple mistake.

Thank you. The concept was based on conversations
LappiFox and I have had in the TransformNation Discord server. The whole "watching a cartoon" perspective made doing the rough draft quite difficult. It was my first time writing TGTF, toonification, and horror elements (I think). Funnily enough, the tone got lighter with each draft

I definitely agree with what other people were saying about the 2D perspective being hard to wrap my head around, but I think the fact that you managed to pull something like that off in the first place really speaks to your skill as a writer. I definitely enjoyed the story, too. Keep up the great work!
That's a scary setup, and a defunct video store is a good abandoned place to use for a horror story. Well... the back rooms of a business are, anyway. There was an odd bit of the story that focused on the shelves when they weren't important, and I'm not sure why the hero was there in the first place. But besides that, it was enjoyable. The 2D perspective is an unusual thing to set up and portray, and you managed to do that. I wonder what a 2D trail through the city would look like.
