Secretly, this plan is genius. The guards just stand around doing nothing all day, while the maids will actually do productive work. But they're still stationed all around the castle, and no intruders would expect the maids to have military training...

There's probably one guard who wants to get demoted to a maid, but no matter how hard he tries he just can't manage it. Mostly because Celestia is waiting for him to buckle down and ask for the demotion personally.
