So one day I was bored out of my mind, and I thought, "How cool would it be to make 52 drawings over a year?" Later this thought goes to something else with 52 in it: a deck of cards.
So I sat there with a grid mulling over who to put as what card. Ultimately, I gave up on that plan. It was madness, but hey, it killed some time. Plus I had a bit of trouble: what to do with Fritzy and Circa? I mean, they should be together, but I felt strange about making them King and Queen of a given suit. King and Jack separates them. Numbers don't work, they're too important. Ace and King were debatable, but...
Wait a second. If Fritzy were on the king card in a fancy throne, wouldn't Circa wind up stealing the throne with a Burger King crown to play Xbox? I mean, a chair that big must be comfy.
I don't know, that's just what I was thinking. This is a bigger version of the concept sketch done today. I'm going to be a day late on my finished drawing. Blah.
