Oops, another ref! 'Cause somehow in the near 3 decades I've been alive, I've only just NOW decided to have an indulgent Lion King-inspired OC. I mean, really, why not? x3
But yeah, like...I'm conflicted over the original film now despite loving the music and visuals as much as I always have still and took this long in deciding to make a character like this because I *really* didn't want to look like I was promoting that...well, that thing they called "The Lion King" over the Summer that we shall not mention further, buuuuut...still, that film was a huge influence on me artistically all the same so it's about time that when I was more confident to draw stuff of that ilk, I'd make that kinda character.
Also, hey, nostalgia hit me pretty hard with these things. Jinsia's looks are inspired by how 1994 official "Lion King" merch looked like and the overly-colourful, almost-garrish-for-modern-eyes aesthetics they go for so...oops. xD
More stuff later! Hope to use this character later in interesting ways, but either way, was fun to come up with this. :D

EDIT: Oops, forgot to also say: Where her age goes, she's in her early 20's. Dunno why I didn't put it in the ref but I guess there's no room for it now so OOPS.

It's really not nice to call Jinsia a 'dork', just because wears eyeglasses, and lives an alternate lifestyle based on her gender. Since October is "Bullying Prevention Awareness Month", this lion should not be a target of ridicule. I hope to see Jinsia in future 'far furry' sketches that put a more positive spin on her.
