Day 2 of Inktober and another bird. This time a bird that lived in the desert I call it a Cactai dweller because they make their nest inside giant cactuses. Even though they live in a temperate desert this will shelter them from the direct heat from the sun during the day and the cold during the night. And since the cactus are known for storing water, they also have water reserve built in their nest.
