When Gadget outgrew the planet Earth she first panicked at the prospect of floating in the vacuum of space, but when she discovered that she wasn't having any problems breathing or even not breathing she began to theorise as to why. After watching the planet complete one rotation she picked the one theory that seemed to account for her sudden apparent lack of need for everything life requires and decided to actually do something.

There was a whole world there, with a whole array of thriving species on it, and she had digits the size of continents; Gadget began to smile.
