Dunno where you live, but most people where I live aren't kind, nor have any shred of kindness to share with others.

Wasn't aware I was an asshole... guess this is one way to find out. Don't know any other asshole Dutchies either...

How I see it, the bad cases are just a loud minority, we rarely approach all the people that are around - because they are nice and don't want to bother you. But when you do actually get to know people, via hobbies and such, they are all basic nice people. Or at least trying their best to not be jerks.

I'm guessing it depends on the type of city/village you live in. Obviously being in an entirely different country altogether also makes for a world of change.

In my case a grand majority are assholes, and everyone who isn't intrinsically an asshole has been turned bitter by the people around them, not wanting to interact with anyone, because of the chance to backfire.
I'd like to say this doesn't have a specific reason, but I'm pretty sure it's because of the vast increase of immigrants and refugees. Somehow the majority of those people think that the best way to live in a better country than their own is to do things the exact same way that turned their country to shit in the first place. Be it being a sexist pig, disturbing the general peace, or being an outright criminal.

Of course everyone can be nice. But they're nice by default only to their own people, which just makes them selfish and borderline racist. Despite having been graciously taken in by this country. It's messed up.
I may sound bitter myself, and I probably sound like a racist as well when saying shit like this, but it's simply the truth. I got absolutely nothing against people in general; no matter where you come from or what ethnicity you have, but I am against assholes.

I find it helps bringing out the niceness from other people by not having strong prejudices towards them.

Hey, tell them that. Even if I have strong prejudices towards any type of person, I still treat them as normal human beings.

This speaks to me on a spiritual level

You may be mistaking the wild animal to caracat, a mix of caracal and house cat. Caracal is a medium sized feline.

Possibly. I mean the two he said were "small" and about the size of bobcats. So I mean if they get bigger, or maybe they had more wild blood in em.

I just know they were the coolest and craziest fuzzy's I knew, till I met Isis (Snow leopard from a local zoo)

I read the comic before reading the title and was getting an ominous feeling from the first panel. That was a nice surprise, the ending =)
