Inktober day 6. And this is the sun bug, a small beetle that gets its food/energy from the sun. It is a beetle that lives in a semi-desert area. As gown up beetle it has no mouth or digestive system. Instead it gets all that it need from algae that grows on its wings. Since it has algae growing on it wings is a very bad flyer, they can be several thousand in an area of a square meter.
