A little bit of narrative text I wrote to go with the piece:

Zuriel made the rounds through her humble abode, getting it ready for the Halloween party she would be hosting later that evening for her coven. As she rounded a corner into the Next Room, she saw Vivian, her companion who had come over early to help make preparations, sitting in the cauldron with her selfie stick extended.

"What do you think you are doing?" Zuriel asked. Vivian shifted and turned to look back at her.

"I'm posing for glam shots," Vivian said.

"We are serving soup out of that cauldron tonight. This isn't sanitary!"

"I promise I'll clean it when I'm done. Just let me get the perfect angle."

"Fine, finish up. Why are you like this?"

"Well isn't that obvious? I do it for the likes! Everything I do I is for likes!" Vivian said. Zuriel she pressed her hand against her face and sighed, but grinned slightly. Vivian flipped the werewolf mask resting on her head down over her face.

"Woof!" she barked.

Finally! Some Halloween themed art! I think this is the first specifically Halloween piece I've drawn in years.

This took way longer than something of this caliber would usually take because my chronic wrist pain has been flaring up, limiting my working hours. Still, I'm really proud of the results, much more so than I expected to be. This is my first finished, full-color piece to feature the new designs for Zuriel and Vivian. I think it's also my first piece to feature them together, which is a little odd considering they canonically spend a lot of time around one another and are very close.
