This is my piano cover of Journey of the Sorcerer, by the EAGLES.
I first heard the song when I discovered the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio series, and fell in love with it. When I discovered my parents had the album it was on, I was amazed to hear that the song was actually over 6 minutes long!
I don't play it for that long, but I learned it or the opening of a Hitchhiker's themed club in Second Life, and have played it ever since.

My dad had the vinyl LP for One Of These Nights, this song being right in the middle of it, and I was so stunned to hear Journey of the Sorcerer there. I'd seen the Hitchhikers' Guide To The Galaxy miniseries from BBC on PBS, back in the '80's, and really liked the cover of the song that they had there, but I had no idea that the Eagles had done it in the first place. Such a cool discovery, and it's been one of my favorite instrumentals ever since.

That is too cool, Kenoshi, my dad had the same thing! I'd known about Hitchhiker's from our local radio station that would air the series, and that theme song for over a year, and learned that it was originally an Eagles song. I went searching through his albums, and sure enough, there it was! I listened to it, just loving the extended version, and it'd been one of my favorites too!
