[This is for the sake of transparency as with the last update posts]
Sad to say we're continuosly given the runaround, but it appears to be so. The social security office promised us checks by the 10th. Here it is the 13th with no answer even when we call. The theory is that they're backed up from the holiday, but that's done nothing for our bills and groceries.
The game plan, assuming things work out from them in the next few days, is to take a bit more work and then shut down sales for a couple of weeks when the check comes in to knock out the backlog. I've been working on getting pieces turned in and slowly uploading upon approval, but it's a slow process when I'm also having to care for my grandma (she is a two person job, with me and one nurse; my mother has to daily duties to attend to) and plan out new sales in order to keep my family afloat.
So this means I'll be uploading more YCHs through the rest of the week and posting a few more completed pieces to even out my gallery. I'll be sending out some updates today as well when I get a chance to. Thank you for your patience and patronage, and I truly hope I can make it up (in bulk, plus interest!) in the very very near future.
