I AM BECOME NEOPETS
As I mentioned on the Pirate Flotsam, Halloween and Christmas aren't just things that exist in Neopia, they're cultural divisions and "breeds", as in something that changes one's appearance and possibly alignment in society. The realization of this and the implications it gave me hit me like a ton of fucking bricks, but overanalyzing class analysis based on cutesy virtual pet colors is, as all the heteros said in 2009, gay. What's still gay but in a good way is acknowledging that the Christmas Kougra is perfectly cute, admirably simple, and allows you to have a white tiger without all the nasty side effects of inbreeding. Truly a delight!
