More exploration into a simpler ink style for unnamed impending project. I like halftones, I like the ideas of highlights. Though not all panels would be midtone or splotchy wet ink look. Still really trying to nail down a balance. I REALLY like the texturey look of the previous and would like to try to retain a lot of that. but somehow make my edges cleaner on the characters. I also dig the pop of a really bright colour or two to bring things out, maybe I'll try fully rendering the eyes next time. perhaps even change the gray tones of the clothing. sort of like a layered half tone look or something. hmm.... maybe even cut out most spot blacks and try layering halftone... Oboy!

For backgrounds I think what I would do differently is keep everything really splotchy washed, with some really clear cut edge silhouettes for buildings, scenery and things. But have it fairly minimalist.
There is a colour alternate I have to work out as well, but I have yet to tackle that.

Also, the inital reference was a coyote, yet somehow I got the idea she works for a place called "Jack Russel Courier". Huh, guess the name doesn't require employees to be of same breed.
