I completed one more stop on the way to the LA marathon this morning;
The Surf City 1/2 marathon in Huntington Beach, Ca. It was a perfect day
for a race with plenty of sunshine and temps in the low 60's.
Thanks to my generous sponsors we raised almost $600 for my favorite
dog rescue group.
I ran the race in ears, handpaws and furry themed shirt...
The crowd cheered for the sweating dog at every turn (that helps a lot!)
Thanks to Maggie, Brian, Jeff and HD for the hooting and cow bell.

I finished 63rd out of 4,268 men.
I got my assed kicked by 22 women.
