The redemption of love. The grace and strength of kindness in the face of adversity and cruelty. In saving Estella, Evie may help save others of the damned in that institution through her. It's a nice touch, not forced, not saccharine, not phony, but 100% honest and beautiful.
good god Evie absolutely oozes cute. i love her character and personality. She makes me smile, and when one works 3rd shift at Wal-Mart..one does not smile. that place takes nice, happy people and turns them into angry, frustrated, demoralized, demotivated, and depressed lumps. so thank you for this comic, and your art in general, keeps me going, keeps me sane, and makes with the happy.
I know! That's why I would love to know his Story. Everybody's miserable in there, but damn if Bobby ain't cute. Why was he bullying Evie? Was it just a deflection of the miserable living conditions to feel better about himself, was it peer pressure to fit in with a clique? Honestly, I can't see Bobby as being bad by nature.
