I doubt it will be that simple. Evie talked Stella down, allayed her fears and gave her hope for the future, but Stella is still affected by what happened, those scars run deep, and as we've seen, she still has anger issues. But Evie will be there to calm her. And Stella will be there to protect Evie and remind her that her life is worth something.
Sometimes you're on the razor's edge waiting to be pushed off. From the look of things, she knew it was wrong, but wanted to protect Evie no matter what. Stella was probably hoping that Evie would tell her to stop because she didn't want to be that way. Does it make sense from a logical point of view? No. But we're talking about the feelings of a very bitter, angry teenager.
