God. Damn.
You weren't kidding when you said you were working on something very detailed! The way the water and blood run down the various textures and mix is so realistic and lovely. I'm impressed and a bit jealous. <3 And those nasty, mould-infested holes in the wall are fantastic.
The moody, heavy atmosphere here is just phenomenal -- and to be completely honest, I find this scene quite cosy. The way you put a scene together is always amazing, all the locations are so real and alive with feeling.
Oh! And I'm still really curious about Pash's story, I remember reading once that they are trapped in a house and can't die, but I need to learn more...

hnnrgh Null you are always swooning me with these wonderful comments ;_; <3
The whole piece felt like a little gauntlet, practicing new types of textures. Tons of room for improvement, but highly enjoy trying to work with water when i can. I feel like those have been my favorite pieces whenever i try them; particularly the older one i did with the rats in the tub haha. I still kinda consider that my magnum opus.
Water- or generally being soaked i think as a subject, oddly has it's way of making a scene feel more heavy. The disregard of not moving into a dry place because you don't "feel like you deserve too" carries a comforting and relatable symbology. I think your term calling the scene 'cozy' is pretty accurate on how some of us would do the same. It's weird. Self inflicted sadness can be it's own bandaid alot of the time. I'm sorta going into a rant now haha, but yee.
oompf, pash's story. I've played around with it in my head forever and tbh nothing is really cannon. I'm not sure what direction im going for, with either Pash nor DD. There's these ideas in my head that I like to entertain in some of these drawings and most of it is still consistent, but it's all still a story i'm trying to unfold and discover myself. I would love to tell you more if i could! Thank you again for your support tho boog, it's always a big motivation boost <3

I can see why! But you've already improved a lot since that piece; you've improved a lot merely in this work alone. Good job on pushing through and overcoming this gauntlet.
Water definitely holds emotional significance. I've heard it's a common theme in stress dreams. Well, I can also relate to sitting on the floor long after a shower's ended, slowly getting cold but not doing anything about it. Or staying submerged in very cold and nasty bath water like a crocodile.
Good luck! I can relate; some of my stories took me a long, long time to really figure out. But if you ever want to discuss ideas, I'm always interested in what you have to say.
