When Riley and Idena managed to get each other pregnant, Riley ended up becoming the sire of the only child that Idena has given birth to so far. A hermaphroditic Espurr, which wasn't too surprising. They had become accustomed to seeing a small few of Riley's own children hatching with the same gender. And since the other children in their rather large family tended to have names at least somewhat related to electricity, they named the newborn Faraday.

Faraday proved to have a stubborn streak a mile long as a child. This made raising the child difficult, especially when Faraday's rodentine incisor teeth eventually came in. And once they made up their mind to do something, the only way to stop the child was to bribe them. And as one may imagine, bribing a child to reinforce good behavior isn't always a good idea.

When Faraday evolved into a "female" Meowstic during puberty, things became complicated. Then again, having thirteen siblings also going through puberty had turned home into a proverbial madhouse.

First there was the matter of gender identity. Second was contending with the mixed hormones. Third, and probably the more interesting, was their growing interest in large weaponry and sugary soft drinks. In some respects, they were like their "father", Riley.

This fascination with large guns continued into adulthood. To feed this "hobby" as Faraday calls it, they've taken to freelancing. Bounty hunting, body-guarding, "treasure hunting"... As long as it pays the caps to buy the big guns and keep them both maintained and supplied with ammo. If there's enough on the side to begin building a power armor exoskeleton, that would be a bonus...
