One-Hundred years ago, this was a depot. Jefferson was always a small town of South Park valley. The narrow gauge served this town till the end of operations. However, the small hamlet still sees regular traffic thanks to Highway 285. thankfully, this depot was saved. This is one of the many relics of the narrow gauge you can find around South Park, and in Colorado as a whole.
This was part of a July 2016 trip I took to Colorado. i have family and friends that live throughout the state. Thankfully, my uncle shares the same train interest as I do. It's the reason why I got this photograph in the first place.
