So our discord group was doing a secret Santa and my partner was one of our Pen and Paper group.
This is his character, the Wood Elf Varis Doppelstern, the Warlock of our group. And a kind, helpful pacifist. If you know the world of Ravnica, the Magic the Gathering Plane which is a world wide city full of political plots between the ten guilds, legal necromancy and dark magic, huge contrasts between the high and mighty palaces and the poor, run down back alleys, you might have some understanding of how scarce such an individual is in such a world. And as we adventured together it becomes obvious that he could only remain that way because he had known nothing but the sheltered groves of the Selesnya gardens. His impact on the group, consisting not only of a Boros Minotaur Warrior and a Simic Monk, but also a Golgari Ranger, Rakdos Bard, Izzet Sorcerer and Ravyetta, the Orzhov Rogue, is surprisingly strong, urging them for the better and altruistic approaches and outcomes... Though Ravyetta wouldn't be Ravyetta if she didn't know how to still get profit out of that, even if it's materialistic profit. And if he is not with the group, the group tends to turn... pretty dark.

To his right is the Dryad Alandeluviel. As experienced Dungeons and Dragons players you might know that Warlocks make a pact with a powerful entity, who becomes their patron and source of magic and energy. That is her, his patron, which also is his lover. On a totally non carnal level. Because they're pure. *wink* There might be members of the group trying to change that. :>

Drawing this was... frustrating in the end. You know, Christmas Time is busy and I thought drawing could be done more to the end, because it's a digital gift. But my Laptop had my Photoshop crashing every five to ten minutes so I ended up redoing several steps around 4-5 times until they were done. I started saving pretty often. Urgh. So glad I can paint on my PC again.
