Her name's Casey. Although she looks like a ferret, note the familiar kanoki ears and nose. She is in fact a kanoki (same species as Jackie). I imagine she was teased a lot for her unusual body type. As an adult, she's pretty grumpy and goes around scavenging in abandoned human settlements, cities, and the like for things to sell. Dangerous job, but it pays well mostly.
