Card Sharks/Double Dare Theme (WIP)
This isn't the finished product; just a work in progress. But it is a fact I challenged myself to do a score on MuseScore with a large number of instruments, having previously done it with the Tiny Toon Adventures theme. I decided to go with a game show theme that was easier to teach myself by ear, the original theme for the CBS incarnation of Double Dare (no relation to the Nickelodeon show), and reused for the original era of Card Sharks on NBC; the latter is enjoying a summertime run on ABC. (The CBS and syndicated versions in the 80s used a different theme.) Coincidentially, the themes for all shows mentioned were written by the same man, Edd Kalehoff.
My challenge was to use a big band setting, although I'm adding instruments as I see fit.
