These are like my favorite kind of snake next to hognoses. I wanted to explore a more stylized approach to the subject, and the way they coil on branches made them a really good subject for it. I was REALLY close to trying to paint one more realistically... but honestly most of the submissions were all in that kind of style, and I thought it'd be a little refreshing to do something different.
