Over the last three years, Desert Dog has gone through hell and back, rebuilt herself and yet... up until most recently, something was always missing in her heart. The young daughter that she thought dead, Mai Zorra. But now, the clouds parted, and through a hard fight, she finally clutched the piece that finally brought her whole again.

This has been one of the most touching and heartfelt pieces I've gotten.
This fantastic piece shows the happy ending of Completing The Heart where Tamara reunites with her daughter. Yes, I'm well aware that it's a little different from how it is in the text, but the notes are all still there.

 hanazawa has done so well, she's done DD very well in the several pieces I've had done, and now the design for her hybrid coyote/fennec daughter right down to the little smiley face on her thigh just brings my heart to warmth.

Being a father now and also having lost my mother ten years ago, this makes me tear up for vastly different reasons. But I'm so happy to have gotten this; it was a long time coming with a promise that for the terrible situation she was put through, I would bring Tamara's daughter to her to have that joy that just made it worth being a hero.
