Along the Lincoln Highway near the Iowa-Nebraska border lies a small town called Missouri Valley. Within said town is a quaint little ice cream shop called Dairy Den. It's nice. Nice enough to be adored by locals, and passerby's, like me, my mom, and my aunt. But small enough to not need an official website to bring in customers. Not many people diverge from the interstates when traveling west, but we made the decision to take the backroads a few dozen miles east of here. The hills of Iowa are much nicer without the speed and bustle of I-80, and we accidentally fulfilled my aunts desires to ride (at least part of) the Lincoln Highway.
