A grew up isolated on a farm with an incredibly religious and abusive family. Because of the physical and emotional abuse he suffered, he grew to hate humans, though he loves and is protective of animals, and is neutral to non-human, sapient life. Due to both being sheltered enough that his family didn’t allow him to attend school, and him being on the lower end of the intelligence spectrum, A only learned to read and write simple words and sentences, equivalent to early elementary school. His math skills are at about the same level. In his teens, his mad scientist aunt took him in, taking him away from the farm and his family in exchange for him taking care of her mutated animal and monster experiments, as he’s good with animals. A, having grown to despise what he saw as the cruelty of humans, asked her to exchange his human parts for monster ones, beginning his transformation from human to monster. He’s very absentminded, having gotten his scars both from his family in his early life and from being too friendly or distractible when working with dangerous animals. He tends to space out and wander off, and has a hard time understanding complex vocabulary. When not dealing with humans and/or the religious or spiritual (which he also grew to hate due to his parents’ overzealous religious doctrine and hurtful practices and beliefs being a large part of what made them so terrible toward him), he’s generally kind, well-meaning and honest. He’s an incredibly hard worker, prone to ignoring physical pain and consequences if he feels he needs to do something. He’s also very stubborn. A tends to be rather vacant, not thinking about anything at all and getting lost in simply watching life go by. He loves everything to do with princes, princesses and royalty. His favorite movie is Cinderella and he has a collection of crowns, both plastic and metallic, as well as other fancy items he can wear to make himself feel like his idle dream of being a prince (capes, scepters, sashes, etc.) He likes dressing up, and when he sees a crown or related object he wants, he’ll do almost anything to get it. Due to various factors, including his manner of dress and posture (along with his general expression an appearance), A is often thought to be younger than he is. He’s usually mistaken as being in his mid-to-late teens. He’s pretty neutral about this, and in many cases, will not even think to correct someone under this mistaken impression. He’s very strong, both from the strength granted by his monster limbs and the physical labor required by his job. Despite this, he’s a very poor fighter. He isn’t good at thinking on his feet or reacting quickly, meaning the most he can do is throw a few hard punches and hope it works out. Luckily, due to his generally gentle and placid nature, he rarely gets into situations where combat would be needed.
