This is a picture of the kitsune detective Mercedes from my story Mercedes: Meetings, as drawn by 
FOX-POP. Considering she deliberately affects a noir style (partly because it's easier to hide under the trenchcoat) I figured the 'vintage' drawing style would suit her perfectly.

I liked it. First time I've had this character drawn, but I think FOX-POP captured her pretty well.

I don't know if we ever spoke together of your prose writing back in the Trap Line days, or on that BBS about it. You certainly knew how to compose a proper post, as you still do and have for as long as I've known you or your person. :) Thank you again for the sharing of Mercedes' picture, thus!

Yes, FOX-POP is really good with the 'vintage poster' style, which was why I asked him to draw this character; I figured the style would work well with her.
