Although it was easy to focus upon other activities during his times with the Feline woman, there were often times other things that had to be done and it would seem this was one such time. No sooner had he set down his pack at his camp site and set up his tent would she urge him to follow, leading the Hyena through a winding and seemingly nonsensical path through the dense foliage of the woods he'd yet traversed. Where she was leading him he had no idea, and no amount of questioning returned any answers.
"Where are we going?" "Why aren't you saying anything?" "What's going on?" "Couldn't we go on a less overgrown path?" "I can't climb trees like you, I have to cut my way through you know!" "Slow down!" No matter what he said, it always fell upon deaf ears... He did notice her checking branches as she went, rubbing something from her fingertips... She seemed focused, dangerously so. What had gotten her so worked up?
The answer came in due time, and Wilhelm too went quiet.Having been exposed to their work by utter accident, I came to be quite fond of Avencri's style of artwork, and decided to commission them for a piece featuring Wilhelm and Felicia as seen from previous bits of artwork I've had that weren't directly related to the 13th Century artwork of late. I asked for a scene depicting the both of them in a non-lewd way, perhaps with her guiding the Hyena through some dense woodlands with the intent of leading him somewhere and I'll say, Avencri delivered on that without a shadow of a doubt.
The scene they created, along with the background elements truly brought this image to life and I'm absolutely breathless each time I look at it. What is it with this fandom being full of such great artists anyway? They've got a guaranteed fan with me, and I hope to get more work from them in the future.
