A knight, at the most basic level, is a follower.
He follows the training that has brought him to where he is.
He follows the example of those knights and masters who came before him.
He follows a code, living by it.
But a knight is also a follower in the more literal sense. He often follows the orders of the authority he is assigned to.
Sir Gallade's most recent commander, Yumi, is a remarkable specimen.
It is unclear how she rose to power,
And while other rulers are concerned with maintaining and expanding territory on land,
she has her sights set on a more spacious expanse... space itself.
Wherever her ambitions may take her, she can count on her knight remaining by her side - until the very end.
Have not gotten a picture with the lovely Yumi in a bit, it was a delight getting to feature alongside her once again~
