This is Marissa, tenured math professor and Xilly's stoner flatmate. She's a character I've had kicking around for nearly five years (which is terrifying when I think about it) and I've always wanted to do a full piece with her. This piece is a revamped and coloured version of the original concept I doodled of her in 2014, which you can find in my scraps~

Marissa Facts:
- She works at UUDS (University of the United Democracy of Space) which is located on the UDS space station.
- She is a math genius! No seriously, she's a savant. Very intelligent woman.
- But also she lazy. So lazy. The stresses of her job have impacted her recreational drug habit, which some say has 'loosened up her personality.'
- She is a member of a secretive race of fluffy six-armed folk who are capable of transforming into sentient mist and reforming at will. When asked if she's ever done this, Marissa said 'yeah mean, you ever tried being the bong smoke?'
- She is 33. That's also her favourite number. And her favourite Smashing Pumpkins song. Huh.
- Her race actually has no genetic connection to spiders! However, because of their grey fur, multiple eyes and limbs, and thick fangs, they are commonly referred to as the 'Tarantulen.'
- She fat.
