Wouldn't recommend them for serious work - You can get nice results with them, but their waxy nature makes it difficult to layer colors on top of each other.

Never seen you using crayons till' now, though they got out nice. By the way, what kind of crayons? Asking because I've tested stuff like CretaColors and they look horribly faint on white printer paper (especially the black, which at one point hints of gray and at another of paper stomped with a boot). (Also, the black looks like marker)

Cheap ones. They were a set of "twist-up" crayons from a "Staples" store (with that brand on it). I got 'em because they came in a flat bag which made them convenient to carry around in my book bag for conventions 'n' such.

The blacks are ink.
