Who, or what, Chione is has been difficult to pin down. Outwardly, she’s a simple Sun Jackal who takes her days happily serving her Master in the quiet of their grotto.

However, every so often, strange things will happen. As a rather extreme example, she saw a Skittles commercial in which they planted the candy and a tree grew that rained the sweets down by the bucket-full. Being a simple jackal, she figured it was worth trying. Next thing she knew she was discovered by Dark, her Master, surrounded by baskets full of Skittles and her tummy protruding much too far to be healthy. Let’s just say she was banned from watching Wile E Coyote after one to many… mishaps.

She’s generally a covetous creature. She is not above unlawful behavior to acquire whatever it is that someone else has that she desires. The things that she desires could be anything from ice cream from a child to something shiny around someone’s neck. Dark, in the most enabling way, encourages this behavior for her to be happy. We’ll say neither of them are particularly versed in how to behave in polite society.

Lastly, and most importantly, she loves her Master more than anything in the universe. Sure, typically her world revolves around herself, but she’ll move the sun and moon for him. She blindly believes every word he says without question, because she cannot imagine a world where he doesn’t know something or would lie to her.

In short, you’ll see Chione in every situation from quietly sunbathing, to unintentionally causing much more chaos than one jackal should be able to stir up.
