Ooohhh...it's in Banff. I've always wanted to go there. I would imagine that the fishing, at least in summer, is pretty good.

I go to Banff all the time and I can defiantly say that the fish are in the water. However since its a national park I'm not sure on the regulations of fishing =S

Yeah, but I doubt you stay in the chateau every time. The cheapest room they've got is like $600 a night XD

I doubt I'd have much interest in staying there. If I was to go to a park as beautiful as Banff, I'd want a tent...not another house.

Absolutely fantastic background. The characters almost detract from it- it takes a moment to realize that they're not giants, and so they must be standing at the top of a long hill, or on some sort of cliff. If it's the first, there's no way to tell that the snow by the trees is further than the snow by them, like there is with the mountain on the left compared to the mountain on the right; if it's the second, the... smudging? (my artistic vocabulary is rather poor) along the edge of the snow suggests proximity instead of a crisp distance.

Those mountains, though, and those trees, and that lake... beautiful.

It looks really nice. Only major critique I have is that the legs, in more than just this pic, sometimes don't look natural. I know you're going for digitigrade, but sometimes it seems a little overdone, ya know? This one especially, they look almost broken. Other than that it's a beautiful pic with some nice impressionism.

I've done these before and yes there are fun. Love the picture.

Just amazing.. Kinda brought back real good memories when I used to fish/camp out at Rock Creek Lake in the Sierra Mountains. You could still see snow on the mountains during the summer too. Quite beautiful. Was the background straight form your imagination or was it an actual place? It would be great to hear from you ^^
