The light was intense burning like nothing she had ever experienced before it was all consuming. It began to slowly fade away and the pain began. She remembered something had happened, she was working on a cargo ships engines. There was someone else with her she recalled, what was her name Sara.. Sara Kingdom. There had been an explosion she knew it wasn’t their fault, it happened so quick. The light was fading to darkness and cold why was it so cold was she dying, perhaps she was she wondered. She was sure she heard a voice calling her from beyond the void.
“Miss Starmane you need to wake up now” the voice demanded.
The patient in the single room moved slightly and the sheet covering the body moved a little letting a long red and cream tail end flop onto the clean white floor. The end of the tail moved slightly and the large lioness padded over and gently lifted it from the floor and slipped it back into the bed.
“Well she’s..responding to stimuli Doctor Ranor”
The doctor a large brown Rabbit looked over the red panda in the bed. He sighed softly dressed in the usual white doctors coat, red shirt and black pants he shifted position. Picking up the girls chart he looked it over. He still couldn’t believe it had been nearly four months. He moved closer to the bed and tried again.
“Miss Starmane...you need to wake up now”
“Hmmm...just five more minutes Mommy” replied the red panda.
“I would think four months is more than enough sleep Miss Starmane” answered Doctor Ranor.
The red panda jerked awake, opening blue eyes she looked around. The room looked like any other hospital room, but for the large master display on one wall. The display showed a body on the display and was fully illuminated. The doctor started reading from the chart he held.
“Eve Starmane twenty eight ships engineer formally of the SS Boneventure. Red panda female..”
“Sara Kingdom...what happened to her?” questioned Eve.
Doctor Ranor scratched the bridge of his nose while he considered what to say net. He sighed a little softly as he moved to put the chart back.
“I’m afraid Miss Kingdom didn’t make it, she died in the explosion I’m afraid”
“Sara...is dead...how...what happened?” questioned Eve.
“So far the police believe that the Bonaventure’s sublight drive was sabotaged. By who they are not saying the investigation is still on going”
“What...about me?” wondered Eve.
“Yes about that, we did our best Eve..we really did there was so much damage. We had little option really”
“What..what did...you do?” questioned Eve her voice shaking.
“We...I mean I and a team of cybernetician’s gave you a new body everything from your chest down is cybernetic. We managed to save most of your internal organs but for your...reproductive parts, we had to..clone those. We needed to replace your right eye with a cybernetic one also”
“Doctor...how long was...I mean..”
“Four months, it’s been a long time, there wont be any neurological issues. We had to replace both arms as well I’m afraid. Your right arm was...well...yes”
“Will I be able to...have children?”
“With help yes, there are some benefits as well to your new form. Your much stronger and faster with a much higher reflexes and stamina recovery is very much improved”
“I see...so...how much..is me?” Eve questioned. The Red panda girl fought to hold back tears, she wondered about what was going on.
“About...well head, shoulders, chest, heart, both lungs and stomach. The rest is cybernetic, every so often your...new body will need a fresh boost of nanites one a month. We’ll keep you well supplied with that. You should be able to be..discharged to your home tomorrow, one of our cybertech’s will be living with you until you are able to deal with normal life and servicing of your body.”
“Doctor...I’d like to be a lone for now..if you don’t mind” replied Eve.
The panda girl watched as the lioness nurse and rabbit doctor left. She waited for the door to close and began to weep loudly.

Dawn had crept over the hospital a few hours earlier now the light of the sun was busy warming the front walls. Eve’s sleep had been disturbed by nightmares, nightmares of herself and Sara, the large mouse girl was on fire and calling out for help. Her screams as her fur and skin boiled from her body rang in Eve’s ears.
Eve had woken sweating from what was left of her normal body. Something felt odd, she wasn’t sure what. All she heard was the sound of something trying to cool things down. She tossed back the sheet over her body and slowly sat up.
“Shit that dream was bad...oh god...I hope I don’t dream that again”
Eve looked around it was just her in the room and that odd noise continued. She found the button attached to the wall and pressed it to call the nurse. The Lioness from the day before slipped into the room and padded to her.
“I’m nurse Masterson how may I help you?”
“Umm excuse me but when can I go home and can I get a drink of water?” questioned Eve.
“In a hour or so Miss Starmane, and of course” the lioness replied.
The lioness padded over to a small table and poured some water into glass and returned. Eve bit her lower lip and looked to the woman.
“I don’t suppose you can hear a soft wizzing noise?” Eve pondred.
“Here’s your water and yes it’s just your body’s heat sink dealing with the heat coming from your body” the Nurse passed the glass of water to Eve.
“Oh..I see” Eve commented as she took hold of the glass and took a long drink.
It was interesting to watch how Eve’s body knew not to exert to much pressure on the glass. As she finished the water she noticed that doctor Ranor had returned.
He walked over holding yet another clipboard as he approched the display on the wall. He tapped something and looked to Eve.
“Well now I think we will activate that new eye now, if you don’t mind Miss Starmane. Please tell me if there is any discomfit please”
“Alright Doctor” answered Eve.
Eve looked to the rabbit and wondered what he was talking about, wasn’t both her eyes alright already, she could see from both of them clear enough. As Ranor lifted his hand and tapped on the display. She shook her head as a slight buzz was heard or felt and then suddenly a display popped up in her right eye. It began to scroll through diagnostics she wondered what it was all about and laughed of course it was going throught a test routine of her body. It also included the temperature of the room, the moisture in the air and other things.
“Seems fine Doctor” called out Eve.
There was a knock at the door and Ranor looked up.
“Come in” he called.
The door opened and a voluptuous young vixen came in, she was dressed in a blue jumpsuit of technical services. She licked her pink painted lips and looked to Doctor Ranor. She was carrying a case in her right hand.
“Hello Doctor tech services sent me I’m to meet a Miss Starmane. I have a booster shot of nanites with me”
“Miss Starmane is on the bed, did you bring..some clothing for her?” questioned Ranor.
“Oh yes it’s in the case doctor”
“Hmm and you are?”
“Oh yes sorry I’m Sasha Anson, I’ve been assigned as Miss Starmane’s tech for the next few weeks”
The vixen slipped the case onto the bed and quickly opened it. She smiled a little and looked to Eve, she brought out another jumpsuit but this one was red. She layed it over the end of the bed and took out a silver cylinder, it had what looked like a handle under it.
“Well now hello I’m Sasha, I’m going to be with you for a few weeks. I hope you don’t mind it’s just while you get use to your new body and all. I’m glad your sitting up, you don’t mind if I touch you do you?” Sasha asked.
“I suppose so…” answered Eve.
Sasha reached out and lightly touched an area just below Eve’s right breast. A soft hiss was heard as a small access port opened. Eve looked a bewildred at first and Sasha slipped the nozzle of the cylinder into the port. She pressed the handle and a louder hiss penetrated the air.
“All done, and topped up, the nanites will keep the cybernetic parts of your body running. It will have to be done once a month and I will show how to do it for your self”
Eve slipped out of the bed and looked down as she stood up and looked at her toes. Eve shivered perhaps it was something to do with the air on her body or some natural reflex, she wasn’t sure. She picked up the red jump suit and slipped it onto herself. She looked over her new body and made a slight face. The metallic sheen to her body probably would never look totally natural at least they had tried to kept her natural body marking to a great degree. Eve finished closing the jump suit around her neck at least it felt better to her to be covered up.
“Well if your ready we can leave I think right Doctor?” questioned Sasha.
“Yes Miss Starmane is able to go whenever she’s ready”
“Thank you, Doctor Ranor” replied Eve.
The Red Panda girl looked to Sasha and made for the door the two carefully left the hospital.

Eve did not have a massive house it was according to her just somewhere to stay between jobs. Right now it seemed like the only place she really knew. The house wasn’t the largest in the block, just really six rooms and that was it. Two bedrooms one room for doing washing and such. One she used for a small office and the other three she normally just had various uses for.
She looked around in the office various nick nacks on shelf’s around the room. Sasha was settling in to the other bedroom and while she was doing this a soft peeping sound was heard. Eve looked up and looked to the desk on it a screen was sitting and peeping softly. Eve reached out and lightly tapped the screen.
The screen read: incoming Transmission
The screen quickly blinked to show the face of a tall black wolf, he looked slightly older than Eve. Richard ‘Rich’ James was or had been captain of the late SS Bonaventure.
“Nice to see ya up and about Eve, I heard about Sara...that was a bad business. Anyways soon gonna have a new ship seems that insurance is gonna payout on the Bonaventure. Was wondering, in a few weeks you think ya wanna sign back up with us?” he pondred.
“Yeah, I’d like to you getting the old crew back with each other?”
“Not completely Eve, one or two couldn’t wait had to sign up on other ships. You know what cargo hauling is like..especially if ya can’t get to the fleet academy. Most of the old crew has stayed you know us lot one big weird family”
“Yes….family we always where weird Rich”
“Anyways see ya soon Starry”
With that the screen went blank. Eve stood still for a few seconds taking a little bit to sort herself out. It was true they had been close like being family, it had been rather fun for a long while. Eve guessed the others where hurting to, healing would take time. She softly sighed once more before sitting in the chair. Eve looked over the nick nacks and smiled softly each one came from a different space port or world or somewhere from some bizzare market or other. A small movement caught her attention as Sasha entered the office.
“Sasha I think we need to talk...I want to return to work today, I can’t just sit here at home and that. I know you have a lot to teach me and that, butt I can walk and such so that’s not an issue. I can’t sit around doing nothing I’m sorry”
“Hmmm alright Eve...I’ll need to make some calls...can I use your suite?”
“Sure go ahead” replied Eve.

Aurora spaceport was the largest on the continent of Parnal. The area was filled with the sound of antigrav’s and thrusters taking vessels into the lower atmosphere and into space. Only a few aircraft used the older runways most of those where restorations of older times. Here and there bunkers held fuel for chemical thrusters and such and it was kept under strict conditions.
Several large hangers and buildings layout to the west and east of the massive terminal. The heat of the day shimmered lightly as the first of the interplanetry ships took off from one of the massive shock pads that where there to absorb the power of the ships ascending on anti-grav drives.
In hanger two-one-seven a brand new ship sat, The wolf Richard James looked over his new ship. The Daedalus class ship was just under one hundred fifty meters long. Most of the ship was cargo space and consisted of six decks. From the front the ship had a navigational deflector, then the living quarters. The rest was pure cargo holds and the engineering section. At the front of the ship Richard waited, he looked relaxed.
Eve and Sasha approached from behind Richard, she reached out and took hold of his right shoulder. Richard visibly jumped and turned.
“Shit trying to give me a heart attack Eve, you nearly succeeded too”
“Sorry couldn’t help myself, this is Sasha Anson, she’s my tech, She’s gonna be with me a while” commented Eve.
Richard looked to Sasha and shrugged he chewed his lower lip a little. He offered his hand and Sasha took it and shook it firmly.
“Welcome as you can seer we’re a bit busy right now, got a cargo to haul, you going to book passage or something?”
“Well the tech services of the local cybernetics labs will pay any passage that’s needed. I’m to stay with Eve for the next few weeks”
“Hmmm alright, chit or latinum credits payment?”
“Sheesh chit will have to be”
“Alright then, you’ll have to go see the quarter master she’s helping to load cargo at bay four”
“She’s named?” questioned Eve.
“Oh you’ll know her when you see her, new girl only just signed on with us. Oh the name of the ship is Golden Venture” finished Richard.

In Bay Three the ships main cargo door was open and the field that contained atmosphere was deactivated. A few anti grav sleds containing large containers and other boxes and such floated past. Eve was looking at the back of what she considered one of the largest and most muscled squirrel girls she had ever seen. She was huge her arms were at least twice the size of Eve’s own, just her legs seemed like tree trunks, Eve suspected it helped with her job.
“Excuse me?”
“Yeah what do you want, kinda of busy can’t you see?” replied the Squirrel.
“We can see that Rich sent use over we’re looking for the quarter master?”
“Yeah well you found her talk and I’ll listen while I finish with the bots here and the loading”
“Well, I’m Eve Starmane and this is Sasha Anson, I’m the ships engineer and Sasha’s going to be with us a while”
“I see well right now I’m filling in as quarter master and cargo master, find yourself some quarters as well. I’m Aby Smith, never Abygail...call me Abygail and we might have issues alright?”
Eve doubted anyone would survive calling Aby, Abigail, it seemed a bit of a suicidal idea to her.

About an hour later and a deck below the small bridge of the ship, Sasha looked around the shared quarters. It seemed a bit bare to her all there was really was the bedroom and small living area with the refresher behind a door. Eve was sitting at the small desk and terminal as Sasha padded to one of the beds and took a seat.
“So now what?”
“Knowing Rich it will be a shake down cruise, check out the ship before any real serious stuff. According to the manifest we just have a quick jaunt to Ralen Four. It’s a class M planet, much like our own. Slightly higher gravity we should be alright nothing to worry about. Main species are broken into two, a tauriod species and a huskey like one. No one’s really sure if they naturally evolved there or not. The cargo is going to a manufacturing plant, mostly stuff for anti grav plates. I guess they are for orbital ships or such. Not going to pry some can get a bit..upset about it” replied Eve.
As Eve was finishing what she was saying there was a soft bleeping from the door announcer.
“Come” called Eve.
The door hissed softly open and a young blue furred rabbit stepped inside. She was wearing what seemed to be an all in once piece of green clothing which to Eve clashed some what. The rabbits hair seemed to nearly have no end as it cascaded down her back and ended a few inches above the floor. Most of the hair was the same color of the rabbit’s fur but for three long streaks of neon green. Sasha swallowed as she looked the rabbit girl over, she seemed to have some very, very large breasts.
“Heya Starry...ooh who’s ya friend...girlfriend huh?” the Rabbit questioned.
Eve sighed softly and tired not to roll her eyes she knew the rabbit rather well. Eve just shook her head.
“No Ita, she’s not my girlfriend Sasha is here to show me how to maintain my new body for a while”
“Awwww I’d hoped you’d found someone while you were away” Ita teased.
“Ita sweety dont tease about this alright?”
“Alright Eve, umm Rich says there’s gonna be a meal after we launch later today, I don’t suppose you want to help?”
“No Ita you know I’m not the best of cooks”
“Yeah well you could be, anyways see you later got to go see that squirrel girl about the produce we need see ya both later” Ita answered as she waltzed out of the door.
The door closed behind the Rabbit and Sasha looked up.
“That was one weird bunny, what’s with her?”
“Ita...oh well she use to be a slave owned by some pirates. Richard don’t like pirates it’s not a subject to talk about if he’s around. Ita was used for...well lets say sexual favours”
“But her..well her breasts she’s all hair and breasts why don’t she have a reduction?”
“Ita...she has some very oddly designed nanites in her, like I said she was..a pleasure slave of pirates. She’s tried having a reduction a few times but it never works she’s even had a blood flush to rid her of the nanities. It never works the nanites just seem to rebuild themselves then her body. She might act all ditzy and weird but she’s not it’s just a front. More a coping mechanism really, Ita is really very very clever , she’s official ambassador for the crew, cooks and helps to negotiate trade agreements”
“Guess we should get ready for lift off then” replied Sasha.

“Adara I’m bored...really really bored..What play thing can you offer me today?”
“Ahem, an obscure body in the S-K System, your majesty. The inhabitants refer to it as the planet Earth” replied a tall black Tiger.
“How peaceful it looks” a white furred hand reached out, the hand wore a blue ring.
On Earth a long and violent quake hit a large city on the planet.
The room on Khan shook with laughter from the black tiger and the unseen white furred figure.
“Most excellent your Majesty, it would seem that probe we found has brought most amusement. Will you destroy this, uh, Earth?”
“Hmmm..later. I like to play with things a while... before annihilation”

SS Golden Venture
Bridge
The Bridge was not one of the biggest that could be found it had only a few stations grouped around a central command chair. The chair was in a slightly lowered area in the center of the bridge. The wolf Richard was trying to get himself comfortable.
“Damn it’s just not the same, dont feel the same either”
“I’m sure it will Rich it’ll just take time” replied a feline to his right.
“Guess so Luia anyway now everyone is here we best get under way”
The Tigress gently chuckled Richard was always like this before any trip, he was a big kid really she guessed. Like many of the crew the tigress was wearing an all in one black jumpsuit. The jumpsuits where practical and easily replaced it was the main reason Richard used them if he was being honest. Luia turned back to the communications console.
“SS Golden Venture to Aurora departure control, we’re ready to depart from from bay two-one-seven”
“Aurora departure control to SS Golden Venture, permission granted, your clear to leave the bay and head for ascent pad seven”
“SS Golden venture to Aurora Departure Control understood, SS Golden Venture out”
“Alright lets get this show on the road, away all umbilicals disconnect tractor control” Richard commanded.
The Venture throbbed with power as it slowly lifted off the struts it had settled on the ground with. Slowly the struts slipped away and into storage underneath the ship. Slowly it rumbled away on its antigrav systems and took itself over to the ascent fields. Manoeuvring the ship postioned itself over
ascent pad seven. The pad slowly tipped its self to a forty five degree angle, behind it a blast wall slipped up into postion. With pale aqua blue jets the Venture lifted off, within a few minutes the last few wisps of atmosphere released the hull of the ship and it entered orbital space.

Eve finished closing the jump suit around her neck at least it felt better to her to be covered up.
“Well if your ready we can leave I think right Doctor?” questioned Sasha.
“Yes Miss Starmane is able to go whenever she’s ready”
“Thank you, Doctor Ranor” replied Eve.
The Red Panda girl looked to Sasha and made for the door the two carefully left the hospital.

Eve did not have a massive house it was according to her just somewhere to stay between jobs. Right now it seemed like the only place she really knew. The house wasn’t the largest in the block, just really six rooms and that was it. Two bedrooms one room for doing washing and such. One she used for a small office and the other three she normally just had various uses for.
She looked around in the office various nick nacks on shelf’s around the room. Sasha was settling in to the other bedroom and while she was doing this a soft peeping sound was heard. Eve looked up and looked to the desk on it a screen was sitting and peeping softly. Eve reached out and lightly tapped the screen.
The screen read: incoming Transmission
The screen quickly blinked to show the face of a tall black wolf, he looked slightly older than Eve. Richard ‘Rich’ James was or had been captain of the late SS Bonaventure.
“Nice to see ya up and about Eve, I heard about Sara...that was a bad business. Anyways soon gonna have a new ship seems that insurance is gonna payout on the Bonaventure. Was wondering, in a few weeks you think ya wanna sign back up with us?” he pondred.
“Yeah, I’d like to you getting the old crew back with each other?”
“Not completely Eve, one or two couldn’t wait had to sign up on other ships. You know what cargo hauling is like..especially if ya can’t get to the fleet academy. Most of the old crew has stayed you know us lot one big weird family”
“Yes….family we always where weird Rich”
“Anyways see ya soon Starry”
With that the screen went blank. Eve stood still for a few seconds taking a little bit to sort herself out. It was true they had been close like being family, it had been rather fun for a long while. Eve guessed the others where hurting to, healing would take time. She softly sighed once more before sitting in the chair. Eve looked over the nick nacks and smiled softly each one came from a different space port or world or somewhere from some bizzare market or other. A small movement caught her attention as Sasha entered the office.
“Sasha I think we need to talk...I want to return to work today, I can’t just sit here at home and that. I know you have a lot to teach me and that, butt I can walk and such so that’s not an issue. I can’t sit around doing nothing I’m sorry”
“Hmmm alright Eve...I’ll need to make some calls...can I use your suite?”
“Sure go ahead” replied Eve.

Aurora spaceport was the largest on the continent of Parnal. The area was filled with the sound of antigrav’s and thrusters taking vessels into the lower atmosphere and into space. Only a few aircraft used the older runways most of those where restorations of older times. Here and there bunkers held fuel for chemical thrusters and such and it was kept under strict conditions.
Several large hangers and buildings layout to the west and east of the massive terminal. The heat of the day shimmered lightly as the first of the interplanetry ships took off from one of the massive shock pads that where there to absorb the power of the ships ascending on anti-grav drives.
In hanger two-one-seven a brand new ship sat, The wolf Richard James looked over his new ship. The Daedalus class ship was just under one hundred fifty meters long. Most of the ship was cargo space and consisted of six decks. From the front the ship had a navigational deflector, then the living quarters. The rest was pure cargo holds and the engineering section. At the front of the ship Richard waited, he looked relaxed.
Eve and Sasha approached from behind Richard, she reached out and took hold of his right shoulder. Richard visibly jumped and turned.
“Shit trying to give me a heart attack Eve, you nearly succeeded too”
“Sorry couldn’t help myself, this is Sasha Anson, she’s my tech, She’s gonna be with me a while” commented Eve.
Richard looked to Sasha and shrugged he chewed his lower lip a little. He offered his hand and Sasha took it and shook it firmly.
“Welcome as you can seer we’re a bit busy right now, got a cargo to haul, you going to book passage or something?”
“Well the tech services of the local cybernetics labs will pay any passage that’s needed. I’m to stay with Eve for the next few weeks”
“Hmmm alright, chit or latinum credits payment?”
“Sheesh chit will have to be”
“Alright then, you’ll have to go see the quarter master she’s helping to load cargo at bay four”
“She’s named?” questioned Eve.
“Oh you’ll know her when you see her, new girl only just signed on with us. Oh the name of the ship is Golden Venture” finished Richard.

In Bay Three the ships main cargo door was open and the field that contained atmosphere was deactivated. A few anti grav sleds containing large containers and other boxes and such floated past. Eve was looking at the back of what she considered one of the largest and most muscled squirrel girls she had ever seen. She was huge her arms were at least twice the size of Eve’s own, just her legs seemed like tree trunks, Eve suspected it helped with her job.
“Excuse me?”
“Yeah what do you want, kinda of busy can’t you see?” replied the Squirrel.
“We can see that Rich sent use over we’re looking for the quarter master?”
“Yeah well you found her talk and I’ll listen while I finish with the bots here and the loading”
“Well, I’m Eve Starmane and this is Sasha Anson, I’m the ships engineer and Sasha’s going to be with us a while”
“I see well right now I’m filling in as quarter master and cargo master, find yourself some quarters as well. I’m Aby Smith, never Abygail...call me Abygail and we might have issues alright?”
Eve doubted anyone would survive calling Aby, Abigail, it seemed a bit of a suicidal idea to her.

About an hour later and a deck below the small bridge of the ship, Sasha looked around the shared quarters. It seemed a bit bare to her all there was really was the bedroom and small living area with the refresher behind a door. Eve was sitting at the small desk and terminal as Sasha padded to one of the beds and took a seat.
“So now what?”
“Knowing Rich it will be a shake down cruise, check out the ship before any real serious stuff. According to the manifest we just have a quick jaunt to Ralen Four. It’s a class M planet, much like our own. Slightly higher gravity we should be alright nothing to worry about. Main species are broken into two, a tauriod species and a huskey like one. No one’s really sure if they naturally evolved there or not. The cargo is going to a manufacturing plant, mostly stuff for anti grav plates. I guess they are for orbital ships or such. Not going to pry some can get a bit..upset about it” replied Eve.
As Eve was finishing what she was saying there was a soft bleeping from the door announcer.
“Come” called Eve.
The door hissed softly open and a young blue furred rabbit stepped inside. She was wearing what seemed to be an all in once piece of green clothing which to Eve clashed some what. The rabbits hair seemed to nearly have no end as it cascaded down her back and ended a few inches above the floor. Most of the hair was the same color of the rabbit’s fur but for three long streaks of neon green. Sasha swallowed as she looked the rabbit girl over, she seemed to have some very, very large breasts.
“Heya Starry...ooh who’s ya friend...girlfriend huh?” the Rabbit questioned.
Eve sighed softly and tired not to roll her eyes she knew the rabbit rather well. Eve just shook her head.
“No Ita, she’s not my girlfriend Sasha is here to show me how to maintain my new body for a while”
“Awwww I’d hoped you’d found someone while you were away” Ita teased.
“Ita sweety dont tease about this alright?”
“Alright Eve, umm Rich says there’s gonna be a meal after we launch later today, I don’t suppose you want to help?”
“No Ita you know I’m not the best of cooks”
“Yeah well you could be, anyways see you later got to go see that squirrel girl about the produce we need see ya both later” Ita answered as she waltzed out of the door.
The door closed behind the Rabbit and Sasha looked up.
“That was one weird bunny, what’s with her?”
“Ita...oh well she use to be a slave owned by some pirates. Richard don’t like pirates it’s not a subject to talk about if he’s around. Ita was used for...well lets say sexual favours”
“But her..well her breasts she’s all hair and breasts why don’t she have a reduction?”
“Ita...she has some very oddly designed nanites in her, like I said she was..a pleasure slave of pirates. She’s tried having a reduction a few times but it never works she’s even had a blood flush to rid her of the nanities. It never works the nanites just seem to rebuild themselves then her body. She might act all ditzy and weird but she’s not it’s just a front. More a coping mechanism really, Ita is really very very clever , she’s official ambassador for the crew, cooks and helps to negotiate trade agreements”
“Guess we should get ready for lift off then” replied Sasha.

Planet Khan
“Adara I’m bored...really really bored..What play thing can you offer me today?”
“Ahem, an obscure body in the S-K System, your majesty. The inhabitants refer to it as the planet Earth” replied a tall black Tiger.
“How peaceful it looks” a white furred hand reached out, the hand wore a blue ring.
On Earth a long and violent quake hit a large city on the planet.
The room on Khan shook with laughter from the black tiger and the unseen white furred figure.
“Most excellent your Majesty, it would seem that probe we found has brought most amusement. Will you destroy this, uh, Earth?”
“Hmmm..later. I like to play with things a while... before annihilation”

SS Golden Venture
Bridge
The Bridge was not one of the biggest that could be found it had only a few stations grouped around a central command chair. The chair was in a slightly lowered area in the center of the bridge. The wolf Richard was trying to get himself comfortable.
“Damn it’s just not the same, dont feel the same either”
“I’m sure it will Rich it’ll just take time” replied a feline to his right.
“Guess so Luia anyway now everyone is here we best get under way”
The Tigress gently chuckled Richard was always like this before any trip, he was a big kid really she guessed. Like many of the crew the tigress was wearing an all in one black jumpsuit. The jumpsuits where practical and easily replaced it was the main reason Richard used them if he was being honest. Luia turned back to the communications console.
“SS Golden Venture to Aurora departure control, we’re ready to depart from from bay two-one-seven”
“Aurora departure control to SS Golden Venture, permission granted, your clear to leave the bay and head for ascent pad seven”
“SS Golden venture to Aurora Departure Control understood, SS Golden Venture out”
“Alright lets get this show on the road, away all umbilicals disconnect tractor control” Richard commanded.
The Venture throbbed with power as it slowly lifted off the struts it had settled on the ground with. Slowly the struts slipped away and into storage underneath the ship. Slowly it rumbled away on its antigrav systems and took itself over to the ascent fields. Manoeuvring the ship postioned itself over
ascent pad seven. The pad slowly tipped its self to a forty five degree angle, behind it a blast wall slipped up into postion. With pale aqua blue jets the Venture lifted off, within a few minutes the last few wisps of atmosphere released the hull of the ship and it entered orbital space.
