Can't imagine there's very many Yinglets who are into meditation, spiritual or otherwise -- but given what Kass has said about the way her thoughts tend to run away from her, it seems like it'd probably be really helpful for keeping an ordered and collected mindset.
Plus, that meditative posture looks like it'd be pretty comfy. Narklet looked fully zen for a few moments there.

I like how one small surprise and suddenly his holier-than-thou-maturity facade is instantly shattered. He’s just as ying as the rest of them 😛
Also, afterwards I realised that 2/3rds of the yings he’s musing over being “like children” literally are children. No maybe not all that wise of an insight and more just him projecting his condescending ideas.

The "not meant to be like humans" bit is a little ironic considering what happened to Kas. While him being transformed has been hilarious, I can say he'd probably be better off as a human. Being a yinglet has just been traumatic, and telling him he shouldn't be himself when he didn't get to choose it is unfair.
My mind is ridden with frustration as I try to speculate over what's what when it comes to Narklet and Brakka. The only thing I feel confident in believing is that they are working together and that Brakka was retrieving the artifact that he was carrying at the beginning of the comic for Narklet.
From here on out is just pure speculation.
First off, why would Brakka retrieve the artifact for Narklet? From the sounds of it on page #92, Brakka mentions that he has no more chances of getting back in. This could imply that he cut a deal with Narklet that if he got him the artifact, Narklet would pull some tricks to allow Brakka back into the enclave, considering that he is currently an exile. He also states that he has no more chances which implies that he may have done other things to get back into the enclave but failed. Either way, I'll chalk this up as unimportant.
Now, what is harder to figure out is why would Brakka want back in the enclave since Beizel informed us that Brakka has a history of causing trouble? There could be a multitude of reasons; there could be no reason at all. However, if we were to ponder the theory that Brakka may have been a human and was transformed into a yinglet, then it is possible that he did not take his new predicament very well and took his frustration out on the enclave; thus, this lead to his exile. Once exiled, he realized how hard it is to survive as a yinglet even in the city, and so he wants to be back under the protection of the enclave again. This is a theory I don't fully believe but am only throwing it out there. What doesn't make this theory work is that Beizel also claimed that Brakka's troublesome behavior did not stop after his exile, and whatever those reasons may be could render my theory improbable. Accepting this theory would also mean Brakka is aware of the artifact's abilities (which is possible) and so may Narklet and that is another question I want answered: what does Narklet know of the artifact?
If the answer to that question is "yes, he knows of its capabilities" then my next questions would be, "What are his motivations? What purpose could Narklet have for the transforming rock? How would its abilities be beneficial to him?" While asking myself these questions, I thought what if he was working with Viracroix since Viracroix has so much to gain from a human turned yinglet except his benefits could never be beneficial to Narklet, so I ruled out that theory. This is where I grow to a stand-still because I cannot begin to understand for any reason as to how Narklet could use the artifact considering his reason for being there at the enclave; that is assuming he knows what it does. If he doesn't, then I don't know why he'd have Brakka retrieve it for him other than he wants to learn what it is. Although, the artifact itself is not peculiar at first glance, so he must know what it is.
And yet, I find there are so many other questions I have not answered. Like, why have Brakka get the artifact? Why doesn't Narklet do it himself or have one of his scavengers do it? Unless, he doesn't want to be associated with it, but why would he have to fear being associated with an artifact that no one knows about? One conclusion is that only Brakka knows where to find it and somehow Narklet learned of this (possibly by witnessing Brakka's presumed transformation). However, I'll go back on that statement with the knowledge that Viracroix once said that "things" of unknown origin have been popping up on the beaches and dig-sites, so more than some may know about these strange artifacts but not there abilities. Perhaps this could work with the idea that Narklet doesn't want anyone to know his personal interest in the artifacts, but that still doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Whenever I can answer that mystery there's another unanswered question that goes way back. Before Brakka handed the artifact off to Lopin, he was being chased by Beizel's scouts. Um... Why? Could be for the same reason Narklet told Lopin which was that he is to report the finding of any artifact. This suggests that otherwise it would be stealing. So that could be one/a reason for the pursuit of Brakka because he was caught taking the artifact (and also be trespassing enclave territory, I presume?). That would also explain why he handed it off to Lopin because, if he does get captured, there would be no definitive proof that he took anything.
Anyway, I'd like to get back to the question of what Narklet's motivations are and how he is trying to accomplish them. Pretty much, his motivations have been set out for him by the brainwashing elders: to keep Vizlet from "contaminating" yinglet culture with human culture. Narklet states he's made efforts to show her what he thinks is right, but I don't know what those efforts were. Whether it were talking or subliminal messaging, I don't know. I assume those happened off page. So, what other efforts is he making? He flat-out says he doesn't know what to do. Is that, "...to do next?" What does he want with that artifact? What's his deal?
You know what? Screw Narklet. I am rained upon by uncertainty because I have never been more confused.
Also, I assume Narklet's scavengers captured Brakka. I presumed he fell unconscious like he has shown before, which is why the orange yinglet thinks Brakka is dead. If they didn't snag him, then I guess he's guessing Brakka's dead since Brakka hasn't returned.

I might be lucky enough to be all three.
Hell, I could've kept going like, for instance, the idea that perhaps the artifact has the reverse effect on yinglets in that it turns them into humans. That could be beneficial to Brakka if he was indeed a human beforehand. Although, his statement of "getting back in" would be a weird way of phrasing "turning back into a human." Plus, Brakka transforming into a human would not benefit Narklet unless he planned on betraying him so he could use the artifact for his own personal gain. Again, I don't really believe this theory but am simply throwing it out there for the mere possibility that it could be true or close.
