Dear god I don't really know why I'm posting this, it has me singing.
save your ears, I'm warning you now.
I did this because I was depressed because of my parents, and it just kind of came out. Maybe sometime I'll go back and do a version where I'm on pitch for christsake.
Also, I had to severely cut the bitrate because of size, I don't really know if that does anything quality-wise, but the original 16 MB mp3 is up at: http://tindeck.com/listen/wnew
Oh oh oh and one more thing, the lyrics are nonsense. It's...something fun to do. <.<

Yeah, I'm stuck singing bass in the school choir all the time...Which actually is annoying, because I'm finding it harder and harder to sing low notes the way I'd like to. (Which is, with actual volume and power behind them, not some tiny growl *rolls eyes*)
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of a range do you have?

Well I can freely switch from a regular singing voice into falsetto, and go pretty high there. not like, window or glass shattering high, but up there. And if you know the bass part on Rockapella's version of Stand By Me, I can get that low, but if I sustain it for too long I take a chance on damaging my voice, or at least getting a sore throat *not fun*
I've told you before that I love your voice, haven't I?
Well.. if not, there you are... :)
It's very... almost tragic sounding. Like something you'd put at the end of a movie just after the main hero's main squeeze dies and you're going back and seeing all the reason why he/she's so special to him. It's very... montage feeling to me.
At the same time, it could stand as it's own, but the pacing makes it feel as though it should be set to video or still-frames.
^^ and as much as you're going to hate me, I can imagine guitar taking some of the louder notes out of this, and then being a background part other times. But that's just my sensitive ears, I'm afraid loud or high piano notes tend to... half-deafen me.
