Wanted to share those screenshots for a long while already and am glad that I finally sat down to properly organize, filter out and find my personal favorites to create a collage from. In the end, it still were more screenshots than that they would fit into just one submission, which is why I split them into two collages.
But before I say more to the images here or what I did when creating the submissions, I start off with some talk regarding the game. Yes, I am also a fan of "Animal Crossing". I so far mostly played the DS game "Wild World" as well as the 3DS game here, "New Leaf".
What makes the game series fun, you may ask? To me, it is the awesome combination of cute character designs, lots of activities which can be taken on at your own leisure and loads of satisfying and inspiring variations throughout the various seasons of this fun life sim. If you enjoy collecting, upgrading, interacting, exploring, dilly-dallying about, "Animal Crossing" got you covered.
For me, it has been a great time to get practically everything that you could pick up, earn, win or trade. To play through all sorts of holidays, fun lil games and competitions. To meet, befriend and sometimes pay a farewell to the newcomers and neighbours. And not to forget the creative time with designing, planning and simply trying out things as like pixel art for furniture, artworks and other objects. All of the above have made for hours and hours of a heartwarming atmosphere while playing.
I'm not overestimating how much of a great time it has been. The music alone is usually enough to kick back with. The visuals and overall adorable style just give you a fuzzy feel.
I'll talk a little more in the description of part 2. For now, some notes to all the chosen pics though.
-In the upper left you see my player character in his most recent style. I love the outfit with the headphones. You see some of the projects that the mayor of a town can agree to have built. My town got a variety of them. Also had fun to make Furville a colorful and friendly looking place. Lots of fruit trees and flowers.
-The upper middle image shows the aquarium of my town's museum. I have been at a "SeaLife" before and already then loved the imposing and beautiful display of marine creatures. In "Animal Crossing" the museum and aquarium is also a cool sight to behold getting greater the more you donate.
-The upper right one is like one of the things I am really proud of. Of course I had to implement my favorite Pokémon Totodile somehow. With some trial and error, I managed to make a fun pixel art costume photo wall and can look like a Totodile whenever I leave the house and go down the walkway. You just can't but smile about such ajolly look. X3
-In the left image you see one of my older screenshots. My character used to wear a red shirt with the letter "M", like Marc. Also wore a strawhat at the time. Just having fun with various of the clothes that you got over time. The villagers and my character are here at the big 'Bugoff'. Made the first place there - Cool!
-Tehehe, that image on the right was an especially fun one. Once that you got access to the 'Club LOL' on the main street, you start to collect emote animations for your player character. Your neighbour characters enjoy it to immitate you, which led to some playful times of me letting my character interact with them that way. Here you see my character at a beach party with his dudes. (Alfonso is just the cutest Croc of the game. 🐊)
-Found it funny to put a hammock right next to the town hall, as you can see in the lower left image. Political stuff and relaxing pretty much go hand in hand in Furville. It sure is better than sitting at the desk when you ponder about what to do next for a project. ;3
-The lower image shows one of the various cool performances of K.K. Slider, musical Dog extraordinaire. He's not just great with his folk guitar shows but also seems to have found success as a DJ. What a guy!🎼
-The last image in the lower right corner her showcases one of the various pretty weather phenomenoms that also exist in "Animal Crossing". Here you can also see the shirt that I mentioned earlier. Gotta love a good rainbow! Always makes me 'aww' when I see one. 🌈

Hehe, I told you that it looks superfun. I was supergiddy when I finished it and let my character step behind it and look through the hole for your face. Supercute stuff! Gotta say, the main inspiration were the old avatar images that one could create on the old Pokémon Club website. I had an avatar there with a Totodile costume and while it looked quite differently from that one, I tried my best to scribble something with pixels that would well show what I wanted to go for. =D
Oh, it probably took me somewhat between one or two months to from planning to putting things into action. My house was especially fun. Love the interior and the items like the picture frames with the neighbours that I got to befriend over time in the game. What's been cool, too: Had now at least like two or so YouTubers who playerd their game in a stream or Let's Play and visited my town, saying that it has been a nice experience to them. 🎥
Yeah the Japanese ghost town with the dollies. It was really creepy when I went to it but I really like all the effort put into making it. It was a lot of fun trying to come up with meanings for the "story" since it was left rather vague :) There were some other "horror" theme towns but they were not very interesting. I thought of creating one but ended up just making a creepy house.
Ah, yes. I put a screenshot of that mosaic and added that to the second collage. Also a project that I am quite happy with.
Awesome to hear that you find it also cute. Make sure to give Veemonsito a fav on the original submission, Luwis. 💚

What a wonderful collection. It really does me a good one to discover that you too enjoy the Animal Crossing series.
I never did finish what I wanted in New Leaf. Maybe I should take some time to do some nice things to my town in the meantime, as I don't have New Horizions yet.
I wonder, do you have/plan to get the latest game?

Oh, I sure have a lot of fond memories with the games that I played. I find it would be a game that even some non-players could really get entertained by. =3
No matter how long people have spent time in the games, the experience definitely isn't any stressful and is in my opinion a treat for the soul. ✨
I got it preordered but will receive it as a birthday gift from a relative. The copy of the game will though come from the UK to my place here in Germany so it might be that it will only arrive sometime next week. Will be likely that I'll bring my Nintendo Switch to the hospital and play the game after my surgery throughout the week until I can return home. ^_^

Ah, so far of what I've seen that's very likely. Even that I won't play it in online multiplayer anymore or really try hard to get every rare piece of furniture, the game still looks like you can get a bunch of enjoyment out of it.
What I will try is the little bunch of amiibo cards that somebody shared with me. Never played "New Leaf" much after the Welcome amiibo update and never had that scanning device, so that will be new.
Also got my fav Croc Alfonso as a card so if that perhaps helps me to get him for my island, then that would be totodily cool. (~.=.o)
The game also looks really pretty in regards of how much you can decorate your town, can make sure that nobody moves at any unforeseen spots and in how you even can now go up on taller spots yet. Seems like they expanded quite in terms of features. =3

Oh, wow! Impressive that you are still playing "New Leaf". I must admit after my peak where I basically had done all the things that I wanted to do, the "Welcome amiibo" update got released and I didn't play that part anymore. Was happy to see though that with that update even, the layout of my town worked quite nicely. The path to the campside attaches perfectly with my brickstone walkways. X3
I got it about 3 years ago but wanted to get it years earlier when Chuggaconroy was doing his playthrough. Still don't have everything but I have silver tools but working on gold. But yeah all things considered New Bark town is a work in progress. I need to finish expanding my house and the town itself is kind of over ran by flowers and trees.
I honestly went more minimalistic at the start in regards of flowers, etc. Just tried to have them at places where I wouldn't run them over accidently and would be able to see Bugs without trees obstructing the view. All the gardening in my town is more of an extra thing that I did for a nice and colorful decoration in the end. There sure exist more kinds of bushes and rare flower breeds, but I rather want something that is easier to get. =3
Well, screenshots is tchnically right. You take those images with the screenshot functionality of the 3DS. It just always makes a photo sound effect when you take them. The challenge is that you find the right moment when to hit the button combination because in various cases, the game treis to show you the date and time on screen. That's of course something that you don't want. =3
Also, I was more talking about the contents of the photos. Like have you seen the photo wall that I designed to look like Totodile? That's a unique piece that I created myself. =D

I didn't even mention any button combinations. What are you talking about? To take screenshots on a 3DS you usually just hold down both shoulder triggers plus the A button. It's not really that hard to press. What is more important is the timing., so you catch a nice frame while playing.
Oh, I got the balloon from the 'Happy Home Showcase' that is beyond the main street and managed by Isabelle's brother Digby. When you use StreetPass functionality with "New Leaf", you get other villager characters sent there who tend to hold different items as gifts. You need to meet the same person several times to get gifts like balloons from them.
Another way to receive balloons is going through the showcase's various houses and to look if somebody put balloons up inside their house's rooms. In that case you can just use the order machine and purchase one that will be sent to your mailbox the next day. ^_^
