Hahaha. GAY LITERATURE NEEDS GAY ART
I was the editor-in-chief of a magazine just like this and I can tell you exactly what was going through their minds and it was basically that.
"Hey this is about two gay guys we need a picture to go opposite."
"Here is a picture of two naked guys."
"Okay that works. What's next?"
A mix of "I don't give a damn we're behind schedule as it is" and "I don't give a damn I am only doing this so I can put it on my resume" with a small helping of "lol all gay art is the same rite its abot being gay, w/dicks"

it is my university magazine thingy. it's actually free. they just hand it out. it even has a 7" record in it!
