ironblade87 shown me this movie for the first time the other night and all i could say was WOW. I loved this movie.
sadly my painting skills aren't completely up to my drawing skills which is why i threw this in the scraps section. i really wanted this to look like an old 80s sci-fi movie cover, and yep, sure enough, those plans were flawed by my painting skills especially in Photoshop. not the best with computers, so i work this machine like i work paper, and that doesn't usually pan out the same, which is why my biggest downside to art I believe.
ill figure this stuff out someday, gradually getting better the more I practice.
all i can say with a character almost named "Dr.weird" minus the D.
"HELL YES, WOAH!!!"

My lazy-ass heart just pounded out like fifty beats a second when I saw this just now O_O
Event Horizon is one of my most watched films for some strange reason. When I was a kid I'd rent the tape with In The Mouth of Madness and have this insane Sam Neill marathon.
I think it is the sound track in E.H. that keeps me coming back!

yea, this is one of my earlier practiced color images before I started getting better.
I never finished up on it, but always had the set notion in mind to do very movie
cover style images.
yea, this movie is really cool, just something about it really has a very open
mindedness about it, it's just the right amount of both silly and serious
that just makes it perfect.
it's almost like the Philadelphia experiment in space,
plus Sam Neil as the Devil, lol.
